New Delhi, 24 June 2015: Gaining full confidence after winning the first two matches against France and Poland in the ongoing FINTRO Hockey World League Semi-Final 2015, the Indian midfielder Lalit Upadhyay is engaged enormously on the on-field strategies and formations giving an extra boost to the mid-field position.
Commenting on the team’s performance, Lalit Upadhyay said, “While we won the first two matches, the next two against Pakistan and Australia are the ones we are looking forward to. We have been delivering as a unit and ensuring that we do not give up ball possession easily. Our target from here is to take a clean sweep in the pool phase.”
Talking on Devindar Sunil Walmiki, Lalit Upadhyay added, “His skills in the D are remarkable and the key is his reaction time. He knows how and where to hit and he does it so swiftly which leaves many thinking post that. He will have to keep this momentum on in the upcoming matches.”
The FINTRO Hockey World League Semi-Final 2015 will see the India Men Team taking on Pakistan on 26th June 2015 at 19.30 IST. The matches will be telecasted LIVE on Star Sports.

Hockey India on Thursday announced the 24-member Indian Women’s Hockey Team that will participate in the Belgium and England legs of the FIH Pro League 2023-24. The Belgium leg will begin on 22nd May and end on 26th May while the England leg will commence on 1st June and conclude on 9th June.
