Indian skipper Sardar Singh played his 150th international match on Thursday against Belgium in the quarter-finals of FIH Champions Trophy. FIH President Mr. Leandro Negre presented a token to midfielder Sardar Singh before the start of game against Belgium. India defeated Belgium 1-0 in the quarter-final.

Sardar Singh has been named in the FIH All- Star Team in 2010 and 2011. He has also won player of the tournament award at Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in 2010 and 2012.
