In the first Quarterfinal of the day, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Hockey Jharkhand by 1-0 to secure their position in the Semifinal. It was a close encounter between two teams who were very strong in terms of defense. The game remained goalless in the first 34 minutes as both the teams battled hard to get the breakthrough. It was only in the final minute of the first half that the skipper of Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy, Sadhna Sengar managed to convert a Penalty Corner to give her side a lead of 1-0. The second half started off with Hockey Jharkhand trying to equalize from the opening minute, but their attempts to score an equalizer were kept by some brilliant defending from the winning team. The score remained 1-0 at the end of the final whistle.
In the second Quarterfinal, it was Sports Authority of India who triumphed over Hockey Him with a score line of 4-3 in Penalty Shootout. The match saw some thrilling display of hockey from both the teams as the first half went in Sports Authority of India’s favour who took a 2-0 lead. The first goal of the match was scored by Swarnika Rawat in the 10th minute followed by another goal in the 15th minute by Hina Bano. Sports Authority of India looked very comfortable with a two-goal lead when Hina Bano from Sports Authority of India struck again in the 38th minute to extend the lead to 3-0. However, Srishti Bhoigi from Hockey Him scored a goal in the 49th minute to make the score line 3-1 at the end of the first 50 minutes of the game. The road leading to the semi-finals looked clear for Sports Authority of India but Tannu from Hockey Him came to her team’s rescue when she scored two consecutive goals in the 52nd and 53rd minutes to settle the score line at 3-3 at the end of the second half. The match got extended into the Penalty Shootout where Sports Authority of India prevailed over Hockey Him as they won the shootout 4-3. Jyothi Edula, Amanpreet Kaur, Swarnika Rawat and skipper Anjana Dung Dung converted from the spot for Sports Authority of India while Tannu, Arti Kashyap and the skipper Antim Malik were the goal scorers for Hockey Him in the shootout.
In the third Quarterfinal of the day, Hockey Haryana defeated Hockey Punjab with a margin of 5-0. Hockey Haryana looked in complete control throughout the game as Deepika scored their first goal in the 16th minute to give them the lead. Bharti Saroha’s goal in the 22nd minute followed by Komal Rohila’s goal in the 28th minute extended Hockey Haryana’s lead to 3-0 at the end of the first half. The second half saw a similar story as Bharti Saroha scored her second of the match in the 38th minute to make it 4-0. Deepika also got a brace in the match as she scored the final goal of the match in the 43rd minute to give her team a much deserved 5-0 victory.
In the last Quarterfinal, Hockey Gangpur-Odisha beat Hockey Chandigarh 4-2 to secure their spot in the Semifinal. The game started off with both the teams looking to attack each other. It was Manisha Oram from Hockey Gangpur-Odisha who scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute to give her side the lead. However, Akshita from Hockey Chandigarh converted a Penalty Corner in the 34th minute to equalize the scores. In the last minute of the first half, it was Hockey Gangpur-Odisha’s Aten Topno who scored a beautiful field goal to make the score line 2-1. Hockey Chandigarh made a comeback in the 41st minute as Monu scored to restore parity. But, Hockey Gangpur-Odisha’s Manisha Oram completed her hat-trick when she scored two more goals in the 52nd minute and 70th minutes to win the match for her team.

Ropni Kumari, Indian Women’s Hockey Team defender, looked back on the previous year and explained how consistent opportunities to play with the Indian Junior Women's Hockey Team have contributed to her development. The 19-year-old was part of the team that claimed the Gold medal at the Women's Junior Asia Cup 2023 and also travelled with the team to Dusseldorf, Germany for the 2023 4 Nations Junior Women's Invitational Tournament. Ropni was also a key player for the side at the 2023 FIH Junior World Cup in Santiago, Chile and played in all six games.
