Imphal, 19 May 2016: In the first match of Day 6 Hockey Gangpur Odisha beat Delhi Hockey 6-0 in Pool C. Manip Kerketta (4’, 31’) and Sudeep Chirmako (33’, 46’) scored a brace each for Odisha in their victory.
In Pool C’s second game Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy beat Hockey Andhra Pradesh 14-0. Himanshu Sanik scored six goals (14’, 22’, 25’, 33’, 40’, 45’), and Mohd Anas (4’, 49’) and Shailendra Singh (59’, 62’) scored a brace each in their victory.
In Pool D Sports Authority of India beat Hockey Karnataka 6-2. Deepak scored a hat trick (30’, 35’, 44’) in their victory.
Pool D’s second game between Hockey Jharkhand and Hockey Maharashtra is still in progress.
