Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), 20 June 2019: Action in the 9th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship 2019 (B Division) continued on Thursday into its fourth day which saw Chhattisgarh Hockey, Hockey Madhya Pradesh, Bengal Hockey Association, Sports Authority of Gujarat -Hockey Academy and Hockey Patiala register victories in their respective Pool matches.

In Pool A, Chhattisgarh Hockey beat Hockey Madhya Bharat 6-2 as Captain Tarun Yadav (24′, 34′, 54′) and Sonu Nishad (29′, 52′, 55′) scored for Chhattisgarh Hockey while Mohit Karma (35′) and Captain Irbaz Khan (41′) scored for Hockey Madhya Bharat.

In the second match of the day, Hockey Madhya Pradesh defeated Hockey Gujarat 14-1 in Pool A. Prashant Singh Tomar (9′, 39′, 42′), Captain Shubham Lahoray (11′, 37′, 59′), Mahtab Alam (33′, 45′, 53′), Sahil Das (24′, 52′), Akash Yadav (27′), Sourabh Mahar (30′), Randeer Singh (46′) scored for Hockey Madhya Pradesh while Parth Sonavane (12′) scored for Hockey Gujarat.

In Pool C, Bengal Hockey Association beat Hockey Himachal 3-1 as Captain Saif Khan (9′), Sahil Singh (17′) and Sanjay Yadav (45′) scored for Bengal Hockey Association while Amit Kumar (22′) scored for Hockey Himachal.

In the fourth match of the day, Sports Authority of Gujarat – Hockey Academy beat Goans Hockey 6-1 in Pool C. Chitvan Pandya (55′, 57′), Aniruddh Sodankar (15′), Viveksinh Rajput (34′), Captain Gaurang Ambulkar (41′), Yash Rathod (59′) scored for Sports Authority of Gujarat – Hockey while Captain Nitesh Kullu (55′) scored for Goans Hockey.

Pool C’s last match of the day saw Hockey Patiala beat The Mumbai Hockey Association LTD 2-1. Captain Bharat Thakur (51′) and Swarnadeep Singh (53′) scored for Hockey Patiala while Sandeep Singh (18′) scored for The Mumbai Hockey Association LTD.
