Etawah, 22 April 2016: The third games of the Hockey India 6th Senior Men National Championship (A Division) saw two games played out from Pools B.

In the opening fixture played out from Pool B Uttar Pradesh Hockey beat The Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd  5-0. For the team from Uttar Pradesh the goals came from the sticks of Vikas Sharma (22’), Diwakar Ram (32’), Sonu Kumra (41’) Sunil Yadav (56’) and Ajay Yadav (59’)

In the second game from pool A Association Of Indian Universities beat Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy 6-0 . It was an easy walk in the park for the boys from Indian Universities as they crushed passed their opponent. For the Indian Universities captain Harsahib Singh (32’34’) and Kanwarjeet Singh (9’37’) scored brace while the other goals scorers of the match were Navjot Singh (42’) and Gurjinder Singh (55’).
