Results from Day 2 Hockey India 6th Sub-Junior Men (A Division) and semi-finals Sub Junior Men (B Division) National Championship 2016

Imphal, 15 May 2016: In the first match of the Sub Junior Men A Division Nationals Manipur Hockey and Hockey Odisha played out a 3-3 draw in Pool A. Goals for Odisha were scored by, Binod Toppo (3’, 8’) and Rohit Beck (30’). Manipur’s goals were scored by Laishram Dipu (13’), Rabichandra Morangthem (35’) and Kingson Tokchom (68’).

Hockey Patiala beat Uttar Pradesh Hockey 2-1, in Pool A’s second game. Sandeep Kumar (23’) and Jaspreet Singh (61’) scored the goals for Patiala. Uttar Pradesh’s goal was scored by Suraj Singh in the 46th minute.

Hockey Haryana beat Hockey Unit of Tamilnadu 6-3  in their Pool B encounter. Roman (18’, 62’) scored a brace for Haryana in their victory.

In the First semi final of the Sub Junior Men B Division National Championship, Hockey Bihar beat Chhattisgarh Hockey 9-1. Gulsan Ekka (33’, 46’, 69’) scored hat trick and Martin Tuli (31’, 58’) scored a brace for Bihar in their victory.

In the second semi final Dadar and Nagar Haveli Hockey beat Hockey Bhopal 3-0. Goalscorers for Dadar and Nagar Haveli were Lokesh Vats (61’), Gurbinder Singh (67’) and Mohd. Sultan (70’).
