Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), 27 June 2019: Action in the 9th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship 2019 (B Division) continued on Thursday into its eleventh day which saw Hockey HIM, Hockey Uttarakhand, Hockey Coorg, Mumbai School Sports Association and Kerala Hockey register victories in their respective Pool matches.

In Pool D, Hockey HIM beat Andhra Hockey Association 5-1 as Sagar Nanda (19′, 21′), Deepak (29′), Deepu (36′) and Gautam Paswan (47′) scored for Hockey HIM while Suresh B (60′) scored for Andhra Hockey Association.

In the second match of the day, Hockey Uttarakhand defeated Telangana Hockey 6-2 in Pool D. Deepak Fartyal (12′, 16′), Lalit Negi (9′), Rishu Kumar (14′), Captain Shahanawaz Hasan (18′) and Sarul Panwar (56′) scored for Hockey Uttarakhand while Ram Kumar Vetti (35′), Shekhar Lavudya (49′) scored for Telangana Hockey.

In the third match of the day, Hockey Coorg beat Hockey Mizoram 13-1 in Pool D. Dhanush Kaveriappa M A (14′, 17′, 19′, 38′), Aryan Uthappa M T (21′, 59′), Kiran Kumar S G (25′, 60′), Diwan Subbaiah C U (5′), Nishik Nachappa K R (11′), Bipin B R (43′), Ujwal Appachu P S (45′) and Nanjunda M C (53′) scored for Hockey Coorg while Malsawmkima (36′) scored for Hockey Mizoram.

In Pool B, Mumbai School Sports Association beat Hockey Puducherry 5-0 as Seraj Ahmad (6′, 14′), Ranjan Gond (34′), Rahul Yadav (40′) and Dnyanesh Pawar (51′) scored for Mumbai School Sports Association.

Pool B’s last match of the day saw Kerala Hockey beat Citizen Hockey XI 3-0 as Jithin Joy (21′), Teswin Viju (38′) and Akhils (47′) scored for Kerala Hockey.
