New Delhi, 4 June 2013: Punjab registered their second consecutive win, as they defeated Mumbai Hockey Association 3-2 in their Pool A league match of the 3rd Hockey India Junior Men National Championship 2013 played at Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Rai, Sonepat on Tuesday.

Punjab scored through Simranjeet Singh (30 min), Varun (65 min) and Lovepreet Singh (67 min) while Manpreet Singh (9 min) and Rajat Sharma (33min) were on target for Mumbai Hockey Association limited.

In the other match of Pool A, Jharkhand hammered Kerala 8-0.

In Pool C, Chhattisgarh defeated Mizoram 3-2 while Manipur routed Rajasthan 4-0 in Pool E.

In Pool G, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy beat Uttarakhand 9-1. Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy scored through Mohd Nizamuddin (3, 4, 39 min), Abhay Yadav (7 min), Izhar Quershi (16 min), Arjun Sharma (41 min), Nikki Kaushal (44 min), Nilkanta Sharma (52 min) and Manish (69 min) while Aman Ali (70 min) scored for Uttarakhand.
