It was a great spectacle to witness such enthusiasm for hockey. Last year’s event has set a benchmark for the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018, and it is an honour for our country to be hosting this global hockey extravaganza as it gives the passionate hockey fans from India an opportunity to witness the world’s best players in action. It is a conscious decision to start the sales of tickets six months prior to the event so that fans, friends and families of players can plan their trip in advance. These general tickets have been made available at affordable prices to ensure cost does not become a reason for any fan to miss out on the biggest tournament in the sport.”
