Bhubaneswar (Odisha), 08 November 2018: As the excitement builds among hockey buffs ahead of the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018, the organisers have announced that the Online Redemption Box Office will open from today at the stadium box office. 

 

While the sale of tickets at various outlets in Bhubaneswar has been gaining tremendous response from local hockey lovers since the outlets were opened on 05 November 2018, those who have booked tickets online can redeem their vouchers from Friday onwards at Gate No.4 at the iconic Kalinga Stadium.  

 

With 20 days to go for the prestigious tournament, the local public have thronged the tickets sales outlets to book their seats to witness world-class hockey players vie to win the biggest hockey competition to be held from 28th November 2018 – 16th December 2018. 

 

Meanwhile fans who have already booked tickets for the tournament online through www.ticketgenie.in, can redeem their Online Vouchers exclusively at the Box Office situated at Gate No. 4. The redemption of Online Vouchers will only be available from 1000hrs – 1700hrs IST everyday at the Online Redemption Box Office.

 

“One can sense the excitement around the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 if they visit the ticket sales outlets at the Kalinga Stadium as it is bustling with activity all through the day. It is overwhelming to see the passion people share for hockey in this region. Hockey India is pleased to announce that the Online Ticket Redemption will is open from today onwards and we have officials working round-the-clock to ensure the sale of tickets and redemption of online tickets are smooth. Those who have booked online will need to bring their vouchers and redeem it with tickets at the Box Office counter at Gate No.4 only,” stated Mr. Rajinder Singh, Secretary General, Hockey India.

 

The opening match of the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 will see World No. 3 Belgium start their campaign against World No. 11 Canada. The host nation India will also be in action on the opening day as they face World No. 15 South Africa in the second match. World No. 5 Indian team is scheduled to play two more matches in Pool C, which will be against Belgium on 2nd December 2018 and Canada on 8th December 2018.
