New Delhi, 27 April 2013: MPHA and Punjab complete the quarter-finals line-up of the 3rd Hockey India Junior Women National Championship played at Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Ranchi on Saturday.

Six goals scored by Shikha Sharma helped Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy to register easy win over The Hockey Maharashtra 16-1 in their concluding Pool D match.

Goal scorers for MPHA were Shikha Sharma (8, 11, 15, 19, 43, 68 min), R Ramngaihzuali (14 min), Diksha  Tiwari (17, 30 min), Shyama Tigdam (20 min), Priyanka Wankhede (22, 48, 59 min), Nusrat Khatoon (28, 29, 70 min)  while Pooja Bhoyar (5 min) scored the only goal for The Hockey Maharashtra.

In Pool F, Punjab edged out Bihar 11-0 in the concluding league match and qualified for the quarter-finals.

Sandeep Kaur scored maximum number of four goals for Punjab.

Haryana, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi have already qualified for the quarter-finals.
