New Delhi, 8 April 2013: Jharkhand Men and Women teams win title of the 3rdHockey India Sub-Junior Men & Women National Championship (East Zone) played at Nagaon, Assam on Monday.

Diva Dung Dung and Betan Dung Dung scored twice each, as Jharkhand registered easy victory over Odisha 4-0 in the final of the 3rd Hockey  India Sub-Junior Women National Championship (East Zone).

Jharkhand who led 3-0 at the half time scored through Divya Dung Dung 14, 16 minute and Betan Dung Dung in the 28th minute. Betan Dung Dung scored another goal for Jharkhand in the 66th minute.

Result- Jharkhand 4 (Divya Dung Dung 14, 16 and Betan Dung Dung 28, 66 ) beat Odisha 0.

In the earlier match Jharkhand defeated Odisha 3-1 in the final of the 3rdHockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship (East Zone) played at Nagaon, Assam on Monday.

Sudhir Munda scored goal in the 15th minute for Jharkhand but Odisha equalizes the score in the next minute with the field goal scored by Amit Chirmako.

In the second half Sudhir Munda scored two goals in the 51st and 62nd minute which helped Jharkhand to win this match.

Result– Jharkhand 3 (Sudhir Munda 15, 51, 62) beat Odisha 1 (Amit Chirmako 16)
