Perth, 07 May 2019: The Indian Men’s Hockey Team will play their first match on the Australia tour against WA Thundersticks here on Wednesday. In what will be the team’s first tour under newly-appointed Chief Coach Graham Reid, the Manpreet Singh led side will also play two matches against Australia A followed by two matches against Australian National Team.

Manpreet Singh believes playing against a quality opponent like WA Thundersticks will allow the team to implement the new style and try different combinations Chief Coach Graham Reid has introduced and formulated since his arrival. “This tour should definitely help us in putting plans in action that Chief Coach has introduced the team to.
