New Delhi, 26 September 2013: India registered their fourth consecutive win, defeating Korea 6-1 in their fourth round-robin league match of the 3rd Sultan of Johar Cup at Taman Daya Hockey Stadium in Johar Bahru, Malaysia today.

India dominated the proceedings from the starting of the game. India opened their scoring through Amit Rohidas in the 7th minute by converting penalty corner. Two minutes later India doubled their lead as Satbir Singh put the finishing touch to a move from the right by Harjit Singh.

India scored another goal in the 31st minute through Talwinder Singh to make it 3-0. However Koreans managed to reduce the margin in the 34th minute when You Seung Ju scored a penalty corner.

India’s fourth goal came from Amon Mirash Tirkey’s Stick in the 57th minute with Ramandeep Singh scoring fifth goal for the team in the 62nd minute.

Vice-Captain Affan Yousuf scored another goal in the 65th minute to make it 6-1 for India

India now has 12 points and they had earlier defeated England (2-1), Argentina (3-2) and Pakistan (4-0). India will play their last round-robin match against hosts Malaysia on Saturday 28 September 2013 at 1535hrs IST. You can watch it live on ESPN.
