New Delhi, 22 September 2013: India started their campaign on a winning note defeating England 2-1 in their opening round-robin match of the 3rd Sultan of Johor Cup at Johar Bahru, Malaysia today.

Ramandeep Singh gave India the lead in the 18th minute before Talwinder Singh doubled the lead for his side in the 50th minute.

England tried to reduce the margin in the 66th minute via Samuel Stanely French.

India will now take on Argentina in their next match on Monday 23 September 2013 at 1535hrs IST. You can catch the live action on ESPN.
