New Delhi, 28 September 2013: India played 3-3 draw against the hosts Malaysia in their last round-robin league match of the 3rd Sultan of Johar Cup at the Taman Daya Hockey Stadium today.

India who led 2-0 at the halftime scored through Satbir Singh in the 10th minute by converting penalty corner and Ramandeep Singh in the 33rd minute.

Malaysia reduced the margin in the 61st minute when Shahril Saabah converted a penalty corner and three minutes later Rashid Baharom scored a field goal beating Indian goalkeeper Harjot Singh. In the 68th minute Shahril scored another goal for Malaysia to make it 3-2 while Indian Vice-Captain Affan Yousuf equalizes the scored in the final minute.

India will now take on the host Malaysia in the final of the 3rd Sultan of Johar Cup on Sunday, 29 September 2013 at 1735hrs. You can watch it live on ESPN.
