New Delhi, 28 July 2013: India defeated New Zealand 2-0 in their second match of Pool C at the FIH Hockey Junior World Cup Women 2013 in Monchengladbach, Germany today.

After a goalless half, India took the lead in the 45th minute with a field goal scored by Manjit Kaur. The next goal for India came off a brilliant attack from Vandana Katariya in the 51st minute winning possession at the top of the circle and firing the ball into the goal.

India will now play their next match against Russia on Tuesday, 30 July 2013.
