New Delhi: 26 August 2013: India entered semi-finals of the 9th Men’s Asia Cup as they defeated Korea 2-0 in Group B at the Azlan Shah Stadium in Ipoh, Malaysia today.

India scored through VR Raghunath (6th minute) and Mandeep Singh (65th minute) while Korea failed to open their account.

V R Raghunath scored an early goal for India in the sixth minute off their first penalty corner. India dominated the proceedings in the most part of the first half. In the 65th minute Mandeep Singh scored a field goal for India beating two Korean players and goalkeeper Lee Myung-ho.

Mandeep Singh scored his fourth goal of the tournament. Indian goalkeeper and Vice-Captain P R Sreejesh was named Man of the Match.

India will now face Bangladesh on Wednesday 28 August 2013.
