New Delhi, 8 May 2013: India scored twice in each half, as they defeated Netherlands 4-2 in the match played at Rotterdam today.

India opened its account with the field goal scored by Chinglensana in the 10th minute. Manpreet Singh scored another goal in the 20th minute for India.

In the second half India scored another two goals through SV Sunil (52nd min) and Nithin Thimmaiah (66th min).

This tour is seen as preparations of the Senior Men team for FIH Men’s Hockey World League Round-3 (Semi-final) to be played at Rotterdam, Netherlands from 13-23 June 2013.
