New Delhi, 11 April 2013: The hosts Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd registered their first win over Hockey Bhopal 9-0 on the opening day of the 3rdHockey India Sub-Junior Women National Championship (West Zone) started at Mumbai Hockey Association Limited Ground, Maharashtra on Thursday.

Jemimah Rodrigues scored maximum number of four goals followed by Chaitrali (2), Simran (1), Rituja Patil (1) and Pranali Patil (1) while Sanju Prajapati and Shivangi Verma scored a goal each for Hockey Bhopal.

In another match of Pool A, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Hockey Maharashtra 15-1. Anuja and Rakhi Prajapati scored three goals each for MPHA.

Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd defeated Rajasthan 4-1 in their Pool-A match played on the day-1 of 3rd Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship (West Zone) started at Mumbai Hockey Association Limited Ground, Maharashtra.

In another match of Pool A, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy registered first win over Hockey Maharashtra 4-1.
