New Delhi, 12 April 2013: Hosts Haryana entered semi-finals from Pool A in the 3rd Hockey India Sub-Junior Women National Championship (North Zone) played at Sonepat, Haryana.  Haryana as they defeated Delhi 8-1 in their Pool-A game on Friday.

Devika scored two goals and other players Ritu, Reet, Navpreet, Manpreet Kaur, Navneet Kaur and Manisha scored a goal each for Haryana while Manisha from Punjab scored their only goal. Delhi also entered the semi-finals from Pool A.

In another match, Uttar Pardesh defeated Punjab 4-1 in Pool-B.

Pool  A- Haryana 8 (Devika Sen 7, 48, Ritu 19, Reet 32, Navpreet 35, Manpreet Kaur 63, Navneet Kaur 65, Manisha 68) beat Delhi 1 (Manisha 40)

Pool B- Uttar Pradesh 4 (Mohini Nishad 4, Sonal Tiwari 22, 47, Anjali Gautam 35) beat Punjab 1 (Rupinder 22)

 Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship (North Zone)

Punjab defeated Jammu & Kashmir 12-0 in their Pool B game on the day-3 of the 3rd Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship (North Zone) at Sonepat, Haryana on Friday.

Kawaljit Singh scored a maximum number of seven goals for Punjab followed by Shubkarman (3) and Inderjit Singh (2).

In another game of Pool B, the hosts Haryana beat Himachal Pradesh 5-2.

In Pool A Uttar Pradesh defeated Delhi 4-1.

Pool B – Punjab 12( Kawaljit Singh 2, 11, 19, 29, 46, 47, 67, Inderjit Singh 51, 63, Shubkarman Singh 59, 60, 70) beat Jammu & Kashmir 0.

Haryana 5 (Prabhjot Singh 26, Deepak 39, Viney 44, Mohit 62 and Sahil Preet 65) beat Himachal Pradesh 2 (Harsh Preet Singh 55 and Gurmit Singh 69)

Pool A- Uttar Pradesh 4 (Abhay 4, 16, Amit Singh 27 and Darmesh 63) beatDelhi  1 (Rahul 41)
