Argentina aims to reach the finals of Hero Hockey World League

7 January 2014, New Delhi:  Argentina team continued with its practice for the Hero Hockey World League Final. The team will be playing its first match against Netherlands on 10thJanuary 2014.

Speaking on the tournament Asst Coach Agustin Corradini, Argentina said “we are focusing on reaching the finals for this tournament but presently our first priority is to reach the Top 6. Teams like Netherlands, Belgium, Germany are strong opponents. At present we are analyzing the situation and have our back-up plans in place while hopefully will work for us in the tournament.”

Speaking post the practice session, Captain of Argentina Facundo Callioni said “our immediate target is to reach the quarter finals and will then take each match as it comes. Netherlands, Germany and Belgium are the teams to look out for as they have been in good form in the recent past”.
